Several Tiger Lake Y (TGL-Y) and Tiger Lake U (TGL-U) entries have started to appeared in the Geekbench 4 and SiSoftware databases. Tiger Lake is slated to debut next year to succeed Ice Lake (ICL).
Starting with the Geekbench 4 submission, the Tiger Lake Y sample checked in with a quad-core, eight-thread configuration and a 1.19 GHz base clock. This chip appears to be identical to the one that was spotted back in July. This time, however, we have more information on the cache configuration.

Google wants the future of email to be less static and more interactive. Its solution based on Accelerated Mobile Pages has found industry support, and “dynamic email” is now coming to Gmail for Android and iOS.
Instead of clicking links that open in a browser, dynamic emails let you interact with calendar invites, respond to questionnaires, and browse catalogs right from a message. One particularly interesting use case is commenting in a Google Docs thread right from the email notification already in your inbox.

Philips this week announced a new ultra-wide display aimed at prosumers. The curved Brilliance 439P9H brings together a large 32:10 aspect ratio panel with USB Type-C docking capabilities, an integrated KVM switch, a wide color gamut, factory calibration, and more. And while the monitor is not aimed at color-critical workloads, many users who need accurate colors may actually consider it.
The Philips Brilliance 439P9H uses a curved VA panel featuring a 1.8-meter radius curvature, and a 3840x1200 resolution. Other characteristics of the LCD include a max brightness of 450 nits, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 178º/178º vertical/horizontal viewing angles, a 4 ms GtG contrast ratio, and up to a 100 Hz refresh rate. The display can reproduce 123% of the sRGB, 95% of the DCI-P3, 91% of the AdobeRGB, and 105% of the NTSC color spaces. Furthermore, it comes factory calibrated to a Delta<2 accuracy in case of the sRGB color gamut.

Prices for gaming laptops just keep dropping, perhaps in preparation for Black Friday. No matter the reason, it's great to see laptops with modern Nvidia graphics becoming cheaper, and now you can get one MSI laptop with a GTX 1650 for just $649.00 at Walmart. For context, that's $50 less than the cheapest GTX 1650 laptop on Newegg right now.
The full specifications of this model aren't bad at all for under $700. The CPU is an Intel Core i5-9300H, with 4 cores, 8 threads, a 45W TDP, and a max turbo clock of 4.10GHz. One of the most useful software features available on the latest Pixel phones is Call Screen, which basically protects you from those annoying robocalls. While the feature in its current form isn't truly "smart", an APK teardown of the latest Google Phone v4.2 by the folks at XDA Developers has revealed that Google is currently working on making Call Screen much more useful by enabling it to screen robocalls automatically.
As can be seen in the screenshots below, Pixel users will be able to choose from three options for automatic call screening: automatically screen to decline robocalls, ring the phone, or automatically decline the incoming call silently.
